I have loved the library for my entire life, for varying reasons at different stages of life. At one pivotal point, balancing work with marriage and grad school, my local library of choice provided a study area with tech resources, saving me trips into Boston. While raising my family of five children, the library filled a very significant need, and was a focal point of our weekly routines. The library helped me foster a love of reading in my children, and we enjoyed many cultural, musical, educational, recreational, and literary events over many years. Still to this day, the library helps me offer great reading choices to the many young students I serve at my job. I continue to be able to enjoy great books and stay current on newly released items (books, cookbooks, movies, and CD’s) due to the library’s offerings. The same holds true for my kids. This is especially significant for the public in these economically challenging times! I could not live without the library! Love it.
