A refuge in my life
When I was a child, my homelife was chaotic. The Lowell Public library served as an escape into the magnicent world of Louisa May Alcott, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Jane Eyre. I went to become an elementary school librarian and I was able to share my story of how the library saved my life. There are still children out there with the same struggles…please let them keep this safety net. Kindle is not the same.
