The Cambridge Library is Awesome
I’ve been a resident of Cambridge for 14 years and have probably checked out over 1,000 books from the library. These have included books I read for pleasure, books on CD for my commute to work and many non-fiction books on a wide variety of subjects that I am interested in and want to learn more about. In the latter group, I don’t necessarily read these cover to cover, but I certainly get what I need, whether to help me in work, satisfy a curiosity, learn about history, science, health, culture, so many things! I also check out movies through the inter-library loan system (which is a great system). I use the main branch library and love going there, I love being in the library, and I love the people who work there. Not having kids, It may be the only place where I truly interact with my neighbors. If you ever think of minimizing the library ….stop!!!! It’s too awesome! Thanks.
